Our next read will be Abolish the Family: A Manifesto for Care and Liberation by Sophie Lewis.
It was published by Verso press just a few months ago and essentially asks what if we should and what if we could do better than the institution of the family? In this relatively short text Lewis stakes out a case for family abolition.
We will meet on the 5th February at 16:00 at the community kitchen de peper located inside OT301 (http://www.ot301.nl).
We’ll discuss the text for a couple of hours and then (for those who wish) enjoy a vegan meal (donation based).
