Feminism and work | Discussion night

Society is mostly driven by work. Throughout the years, we witnessed many changes in women’s roles in the work field. They first weren’t able to work, and since they’ve been allowed to, they face a lot of discrimination, coming in different forms. Indeed, women face many issues such as the glass ceiling, unequal pay, and more obstacles throughout their careers. How can we address these issues? How do gender and ethnicity intersect with labor? Why is it more difficult for women to evolve in their careers? How can motherhood affect this? To what extent can women be still discriminated against for doing the same job as men? How can the workplace be safer? What is our relation to work overall?
