Sunday Feminist Discussion – Feminism & Men
May 28 @ 16:00 - 18:00

Feminism aims to challenge and dismantle the patriarchal systems that perpetuate gender-based discrimination and oppression. It seeks to promote gender equality by advocating for changes in various areas, such as education, employment, reproductive rights, domestic responsibilities, and social attitudes.
Contrary to some misconceptions, feminism is not about promoting the superiority of women over men or diminishing the experiences and issues faced by men. Instead, it recognizes that rigid gender roles and stereotypes can be harmful to both women and men. Feminists argue that restrictive gender expectations can limit men’s emotional expression, perpetuate harmful masculine ideals, and contribute to issues such as male mental health problems, toxic masculinity, and gender-based violence. How can we address these issues and misconceptions? And how to get involved in the feminist fight as a man?
