My True Dance

As I stay immersing in my mirror
The reflection seems to come alive
It sways; a dance
of illuminating light

I see;
in every crease
in every fold
in every mark, of me
Is where I find my peace

In my frame, in my skin
in my singular sculpture
I feel my;
evergreen grace

A steadying sensation
A feeling; only I embrace
a quiet joy;
In a place I forever long to stay

I feel the freedom
like the butterflies; I
emerge new
from my cocoon

no longer trapped
under the gentle grey fleece
given by you

The mirror reflects to me
A world
Beyond what your eyes can see
my eyes reflects that nurturing light;
Which tenderly shines
right through me

I remain dancing
In a rhythm
which only I hold
I remain free;
In this journey, I remain whole
