Last November we read the English version of Gloria Wekker’s book White Innocence: Paradoxes of Colonialism and Race in the feminist book club. This sparked some important conversations about systemic racism and what we can do on a daily basis to become aware, challenge, question and change the ways we perceive and act. Not only do we want to follow up on the conversation, we are also curious about the new chapter that will be included in the Dutch version that is available from November 7th onwards.
This edition of the book club will include both an English and a Dutch language discussion group.

The book club is hosted in Studio Babel and always starts with vegan soup. Donations and volunteer soup chefs are welcome!
